40 degrees cooler than Iraq

So I was looking at the news today on CNN.com and there was a headline that said "How hot is Phoenix? Hot enough to kill!". Sounds like a tagline for "CSI:Phoenix". Rest assured my friends; not only am I alive and well (duh) but I am no stranger to blistering heat. Since we arrived, I've spent a maximum of maybe 5 minutes in the heat before either retreating to a house or car with A/C. Even still, this heat doesn't bother me. Why? Because of the war. For those of you who haven't heard this already, our hottest day in Iraq was... ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-FIVE DEGREES! Believe it, kids. Now was I crawling through frontlines and dodging bullets at this time. NO; I was sitting in an Army tent in shorts drinking water ALL DAY. PLUS, we did NOT have A/C at the time. So there! I can't say the war never helped me in any way.
Other than that, we were without internet for a couple days. Candess is the office manager at the old preschool she used to work at. She's enjoying her time there.
I am still waiting back to hear if I'm getting hired. If not, it's back to more job hunting. yeah.
